Allsteel Trooper Task Chair

Description

The Allsteel Trooper is a mid back ergonomic task chair that was specified in volume across offices, agencies and campuses through the 2000s and 2010s. Allsteel, based in Muscatine, Iowa and part of the HNI family of contract furniture brands, designed the Trooper as a practical daily driver: a chair with real adjustment under the seat, a serviceable upholstered back and a frame meant to survive being moved from desk to desk. That is exactly what makes it a strong pick on the used market today. Features: Allsteel Trooper Task Chair: Commercial work seating from the Muscatine, Iowa furniture maker. Stepped Back Height Adjustment: A ratchet mechanism repositions the entire back panel vertically. Lumbar Placement Control: Raising or lowering the back puts support at the sitter’s own lumbar curve. Pneumatic Height Adjustment: The gas lift sets seat height for the desk or work surface in use. Sliding Seat Pan: Seat depth adjusts to change the distance behind the knees. Height Adjustable Arms: The arms rise and drop to bring the forearms level with the keyboard. Tilt Tension Dial: Recline resistance is tuned to the sitter’s weight and preference. Back Stop Adjustment: The recline can be limited or locked to hold a chosen posture. Black Fabric Upholstery: Padded seat and back surfaces finished in black woven fabric. Swivel Caster Base: A black five star base gives full rotation and easy movement. Contract Grade Frame: Built for the wear of corporate, government and campus offices. Fits a Range of Users: Four axes of adjustment let one chair serve different body sizes.
